Learning & Development Breakfast Forum
We are planning to host a breakfast forum which will be sponsored by us. It will be attended by HR directors, Learning & Development Managers and people who are key stake holders in the Learning and Development arena.
Why are we doing this?
The Learning Manager / Director is constantly under pressure from Stakeholders (Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing)  and top management (CEO, HR Directors) on Results, ROI, relevance of training, etc.
Some of these questions have been discussed and debated in past forums.

<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Are our learning programs making a tangible difference? If so, do we know what are we doing right?</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">What expectations do our top management have of our learning programs?</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Are our learning programs adequately leveraging our people, processes and technologies?</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Is our learning portfolio sufficiently impacting our business performance and profitability?</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Are we maximizing the amount of time our people spend on activities which add value?</LI>
<LI CLASS="MsoNormal">Are we as efficient and effective as we possibly could?</LI>
<LI>What are the quantifiable results and measurable outcomes of the work we do?</LI>

We thought a breakfast forum like this would help,  where peer support and ideas are shared  and discussed to solve real problems faced by L& D Managers or HR Directors. Very often new ideas crop up from peer sharing in forums.
