We all have experience with education. Whether as teachers or as students or as parents. Our experiences in educational space have shaped our lives and our views.In this conversation we will begin with a shared learning experience; learning to crochet with the single crochet stitch. After instructions, we will have a conversation about our own learning experiences, all the while applying our newly acquired (or renewed)skill. Think about the many classrooms you have been in in your lifetime. Which was the best classroom environment and what made it so?What are the essential elements of a learning environment in your mind?Imagine you could build your own teaching/learning space from the ground up, where would it be? What would it look like? What would it have in it?Is there an idea which you learned today that you will take with you and apply in your teaching right away?When you sign up for this workshop you will receive an email with a zoom link, links to where you can purchase supplies (if you can not afford supplies respond to the email letting me know) and a PDF How-to crochet as a reference for future work.
