Learn from the Master of Worming, Mindy Jaffe. She will lead you through the process of assembling your own worm kit, step by step. She will give you a lesson on vermicompost production and instruction for maintaining a productive worm bin.
The fee covers all the components of the ʻLearn to Wormʻ Kit, a basic box bin vermicomposting system. Included are a pre-drilled 10-gallon container, two bricks for elevation, plenty of cellulose bedding, a nice digital scale, custom-cut shadecloth bin blanket, and a robust 4-ounce starter colony of worms.
Workshop participants benefit immeasurably from the lively, hands-on, in-person session. We set you up for success and stay with you as you explore the fascinating, rewarding world of vermicomposting ! Also, learn about the green waste pods for small-scale composting.
