If you love fabric, like to repurpose things, and like to work with your hands, this might be your next favorite hobby! Twining is a loom weaving method that is easy to learn, fun, and functional.
I will bring some small looms so everyone can do some hands-on twining. I will also bring samples of my work and will show some visuals of what other people twine, from simple organic designs to complex patterns, the possibilities are amazing.

All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and love of crafting. I will supply materials to choose from and looms so folks can get a hands on experience.

If you have a seatless chair or stool frame you'd like to repurpose, feel free to bring it and I can help you get started. You will want your frame to be ready to add fabric, once you twine the seat, you will not want to try to refinish it. Suitable chair or stool frames are those that were previously made with rush or woven like a basket typically they have rounded side and end rails. Feel free to send me a photo and I’ll let you know if it will work.
