ProPhounD’s Purposeful Industry Careers for PhDs series brings together the underutilized workforce of PhDs and organizations focused on solving the world’s most pressing problems.

Most people have heard about informal interviews, but do you know how impactful they can be? This type of networking, which we will teach in this critical workshop, is the kind that helps you find the most optimal place to start your career in a field you are interested in. We will coach you through a networking process that helps you uncover essential information like where you fit in an organization, how your performance will be assessed, and how you will be compensated. The insights gleaned in this secondary networking process is essential to making good career decisions and getting a critical foot in the door at organizations looking for great candidates like you!To be best prepared for the event,We recommend checking out our storytelling materials. During the event, you&#x27;ll have a chance to practice your 30 second self-introduction with a small group of your peers.
