Learn how to transform fluffy bits of wool into a unique felted sheep! In this beginner-friendly workshop, Erin will introduce you to the techniques and materials used in the process of needle felting as you are guided step by step in sculpting your own felted sheep. Needle felting is a very satisfying and forgiving process that involves making repeated pokes into unspun wool fiber with a special barbed needle, causing the fibers to mesh and compress together to form felt. You'll even have the opportunity to incorporate some local wool fiber into your felted sheep! A materials kit is included and is yours to take with you so the felting magic can continue at home.

Erin Gardner is a fiber artist residing in upstate New York. She works primarily in the medium of needle felted wool, creating nature-inspired sculptural and two-dimensional pieces. Erin is the founder and co-owner of Grey Fox Felting, a family-run company specializing in carefully curated felting supplies and kits. Erin enjoys connecting with others and sharing her love of needle felting through her workshops, online tutorials, and in-house line of felting kits.
