Frequently asked questions

Do I have to register to this event to donate? Also do I need to donate to participate?

No You DO NOT have to donate to participate. However if you decide to donate, you'd have to register as that is how we keep things legal and transparent at Life Is Your Garden. Your help will ALWAYS be appreciated!!! Thank you for considering helping us with our mission! Contact us: 929 230 7408

If there is snow, rain and/or any other obstacle for the Teacher, will there be any class/club?

No, I travel to the site hosted at the Bronx Hype by scooter. Common sense would mean this opportunity has lost it's feasibility. I am almost 50 years old and will not risk my health and risk falling to get to one event. That combined with the fact that I can not afford to buy a scooter monthly.

What if I'm running late, will I be let in? ?

Don't be silly!! The classes are free and indoors so rain or shine we'll be there for you!!!

What's the best route for me to get there by MTA? ?

Subway station: Find a way to get to # 6 to Brook Ave. Google the best way to get you to the event!

Is my registration really important?

Yes, because there are always changes of Agency goals, and funding allocations. When you sign up it shows there is a demand by the Community for that and other activities. My goal is to aid in the Community's growth, and healing. I also am available for other opportunities to teach: 929 230 7408

Is it true that Attendee that registers through this site will get a gift the day of event?

Yes of course!!! We pride ourselves in making people's lives enriching, creative, and joyous!! Gifts make everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. Your presence will always be welcoming and appreciated by me!!!

Are you available to come out to ANOTHER SITE/public location for a 2 hour Class/Club?

Yes, we're always looking for ways to spread our knowledge and happiness. Your community is my community and vice versa. We come in pairs for safety reasons. We need to further discuss expectations and/or themes. Professional, dependable, and fun. Call /email us 929 230 7408 9newbeginings@gmail.com

Is this Class worth me traveling from a distance to attend? ?

Yes!! My group is a welcoming group of ladies with a variety of ages. If you are traveling alone, I can make the exception of meeting you at the train station on the 6 train. Together we can make our way back. We have to meet 30min b-4 the event so please tell us asap at 929 230 7408, Gloria!

Will there be a rest room available? ?

Yes we have restrooms for our guests!!

What if I want to donate my creations? ?

That would be greatly appreciated but not necessary. If you do decide to do this, we will gladly accept it. We will wash all end products, wrap it up, and then give them in to HFNY, Hope Fot New York. They are a NFP Org that then donates to homeless shelters where families and children can pick!??

Do I need to bring my own needles??

If you have your own, please feel free to bring to all our events. But if you don't and you're actually coming to learn we will have some available for you to use while in attendance.

Is it true that there will be those that will hate on you learning and expanding?

Yes that is very true. Some go out of their way to sabotage and/or hinder you while claiming to be helping you. Think of Scar holding then clawing the King's paws Mustafa. You have my number, my name is Gloria. Passing judgement on others is unfair and robs one of the possibility of a friendship.
