Learn the basics of knitting and make your own eco facecloth! This is a workshop for beginners, or anyone wanting to refresh their skills.

<h2>Knitting for beginners</h2><h3>Always wanted to give knitting a go, or fancy refreshing your craft skills with yarn and needles? Come and learn the basics at this laidback workshop and make your own eco facecloth!</h3><p>In this two hour session we&#x27;ll cover:</p><ul><li> Casting on</li><li>How to knit </li><li>How to purl </li><li>Casting off </li></ul><p><strong>All the essential skills</strong> you need to start your knitting journey! You&#x27;ll be provided with eco-friendly yarn and a pair of bamboo knitting needles to keep, and work your way through making a <strong>reusable cotton facecloth</strong>. We all learn at different paces, so you&#x27;ll also leave with some knitting how-to videos to re-watch in your own time. </p><p>The venue is easy to locate right by Boscombe bus station. Parking at the venue is limited but the Sovereign Centre car park very close by, or you may find on-street parking. Tea, coffee and snacks are also included in your ticket price.</p><p>This<strong> </strong>workshop is hosted by local knit and crochet designer Becca from <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tobeadorned/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">To Be Adorned</a>. Spaces are limited for the event, but keep your eyes peeled for future workshops and social Stitch Nights!  </p><p><em>The &#x27;rona bit: To make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable, masks are recommended and we&#x27;ll pop a window open if we can. Please do not attend if you feel unwell. </em></p>
