All seats for our first two sessions were snapped up in one week! The high demand in our community validates EWC's mission and the desire of our community to have our children involved in software creation.

Empower with Code summer program is a 4-week program that teaches kids how to code. CS First, a Google sponsored program, is free. CS First increases student access and exposure to computer science (CS) education. The program will be taught at Cal-State Bakersfield (CSUB) in the MIS Lab in the Business Development Building.

• All clubs are run by student interns and/or community volunteers.

• Google CS First Scratch Storytelling

• 4 week Program (Every Saturday)

• Start date TBD

• Certificate of Completion at end of program

• Snacks and Water will be provided

• Students will present their work so parents are encourged to attend the final session.

• Parents will drop-off and pick-up children at the Science III circular cul-de-sac. Parents are reqired to show ID upon pick-up.
