Want to learn Python or get started coding in a language that is fast becoming the most useful and versatile programming language for doing data science?

Welcome to the wonderful world of the programming with Python. In this class, we'll be orienting ourselves to the syntax and usage of this powerful website building, number crunching, and easy to use programming language. This is a 100 level course that starts with installing Python and running commands in the REPL to creating our first program and exploring the Python Standard Library. This event is great for beginner coders, anyone looking to learn the basics of python or those who need to brush up on their rusty python skills.

6:00 pm - 6:15 pm: Introductions, food, networking
6:15 pm - 8:00 pm: Hands-on Python Workshop, Q&A

What to Bring:
Please bring a computer with a text editor installed such as Atom.io https://atom.io/

No Prerequisites required, besides a thirst for knowledge!

She is well versed in Javascript, Node, Angular and Express for web development.
