About this event

Needle felting is a fascinating and fun textile craft technique that involves using a special felting needle to stab and agitate wool fibres so they join and bond together. Jenny Biddlecombe is an experienced needle felt artist who will be sharing her skills and knowledge with you and there will be examples of her work for you to look at. Jenny will start off the day by teaching you the basic techniques of this enjoyable and surprisingly easy craft. She will then go on to teach you how to create an animal sculpture using a wire armature which you will be able to take home. We understand that everyone learns at their own pace and although the aim will be that you will finish your sculpture in the day, there is no pressure to do so and Jenny will ensure that you will have the skills to be able to finish off at home if necessary.
All materials and tools are provided. So you don't need to bring anything but your lunch and your enthusiasm!
