Learn the Art of Mosaic
Get hands-on experience creating a beautiful outdoor piece stepping stone using an array of colorful mosaic materials, both new and recycled. Artists Luz Mack and Dawn Mendelson will teach you cutting techniques, design, placement, tools and materials. No experience necessary.

About:
Dawn and Luz have each created mosaic art for over two decades. Their passion for creating art and collaborative work is brought to life through a great friendship and creative partnership. Luz started her art career in all things glass and Dawn began by learning pique assiette, a style of mosaic that incorporates repurposed materials. Using this combination of stained glass techniques along with incorporating recycled ceramics into mosaic is a specialty that brings their talents together. They have made over a dozen large scale projects and countless small commissions, and especially enjoy sharing their love of mosaic with others through workshops and community projects.
