Learn the Art of Mosaic
Get hands-on experience creating a beautiful 5" x 5" indoor piece using a variety of colorful mosaic materials, both new and recycled. Artists Luz Mack and Dawn Mendelson will teach you cutting techniques, design, placement, tools and materials. No experience necessary.

About:
Dawn and Luz have each created mosaic art for over two decades. Their passion for creating art and collaborative work is brought to life through a great friendship and creative partnership. Luz started her art career in all things glass and Dawn began by learning pique assiette, a style of mosaic that incorporates repurposed materials. Using this combination of stained glass techniques along with incorporating recycled ceramics into mosaic is a specialty that brings their talents together. They have made over a dozen large scale projects and countless small commissions, and especially enjoy sharing their love of mosaic with others through workshops and community projects.
