What will actually happen at the event?

Accepted Answer

Experienced Taskers will give a talk on everything you need to get started as an Airtasker, including a discount offer for event attendees. Then there'll be Q&A with the Taskers, where they can share their real-life experience and bring it to life, so you can decide if you want to give it a try.

Do I have to speak or take part at the event?

Accepted Answer

Nope, there'll be opportunities to ask questions, but you can just listen and learn if you prefer! The Taskers will also be available at the end of the event if you have a question you'd prefer to ask in private.

Question 3

Is it really free? Do I have to sign up for something?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely free and with no pressure to sign up to anything. Airtasker is free to explore until you start earning money from it (at which point, Airtasker takes a small fee on each job, but you can include that in your agreed price with the customer).

What is Dunelm getting out of hosting this event?

Accepted Answer

We're always looking for ways to help people in the communities around our stores e.g. our Delivering Joy campaign or Home to Home scheme. In this event, we're just aiming to share some genuinely useful info which could help you earn a little more in a flexible way whilst helping our customers

Can I bring other people to the event?

Accepted Answer

Everyone is welcome, but please ask them to register to make sure we know how many people to expect. If you do have any family or friends who are a dab hand with a screwdriver or sewing machine, why not give them a nudge to register by sharing this p

How will my personal information be used?

Accepted Answer

Eventbrite and Dunelm will have access to the data you enter here but will only use it to contact you regarding this event.

Question 7

Will my data be passed to anyone else?

Accepted Answer

When you sign up to the event, your email address will also be made available to Airtasker to allow them to apply the promotional offer to any Airtasker account you set up. They won't use this data for any other purposes.
