Speak up for the Trees!

Join us for a testimony writing training in preparation for budget hearings before Portland City Council (4/16, 4/18 and 5/5). Since 2009 Portland has considered assuming maintenance responsibility for street trees, and we believe that this is finally the time! Every neighborhood needs shaded streets and a chance to help determine how that happens.

Facilitators: Brenna Bell of 350PDX's Forest Defense Team and Ted Labbe, Urban Greenspaces Institute. Bring a writing pad or other means to caputure your brilliant ideas.

Sign up here by 2pm Friday to speak Saturday morning or by 9am Monday to speak Monday evening. If there are more requests than time allows, there will be a random drawing. Speakers will have 2 minutes each.
