Taco and Tortilla Making Class in Nashville by Hoamsy!

Come learn how to make fresh, preservative free tortillas from scratch! Tortillas are a thin circular unleavened flatbread from Mexico/Central America made with either corn (masa) or flour. Each team will start with their own bowls of dry masa and flour and learn how to make the perfect dough (pro hint... it should feel like Playdoh!). After shaping the dough into balls and flattening on a wooden Mexican press, you'll cook the tortillas on a traditional comal. At the end of class we feast on creations with two kinds of taco filling and all the fixings. You will not believe how much better homemade tortillas taste! And you will not leave hungry.
