We're excited to invite you to attend our upcoming NYC community event, Learn Different Day, a celebration of neurodiversity!
What is Neurodiversity? - Neurodiversity refers to the natural differences in how people process information, learn, and perceive the world. Neurodiversity encompasses a wide range of brain-based differences, including ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyscalculia, and more!
This event is open to all students and parents connected with NYC schools, with specialized programming for middle school students (5th-8th grade), high school students (9th-12th grade), college and graduate students, and the parents of neurodiverse students of all ages.
At Learn Different Day:
- Parents and Guardians will learn more about supporting their neurodiverse students from elementary school through college from a panel of neurodiverse NYC-based experts.
- Middle School Students will engage in a hands-on Art Project that celebrates neurodiversity with our trained neurodiverse Mentors.
- College and high school students will meet and network with neurodiverse peers and ND Alliance college student ambassadors from our NYC Club community.
Learn Different Day will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM at Baruch College, The City University of New York, William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus, 55 Lexington Ave, New York NY 10010 (Between 24th & 25th Street)
We encourage you to share this invitation with other families and students who might be interested in attending.
We look forward to welcoming you to Learn Different Day!
