FREE Community Learn Before You Burn!
Join the Harrison Township Fire Department and the Pickaway County Park District for Learn Before You Burn, a practical fire safety program covering the do’s and don’ts of both indoor and outdoor burning!
Learn important fire safety tips, safe burning practices, what to avoid, and how to reduce the risk of accidental fires around your home and property. With the holidays approaching, the program will also feature a turkey frying safety demonstration highlighting how to safely prepare a fried turkey and avoid common fire hazards.
Come learn before you burn and leave better prepared to practice fire safety at home and during the holiday season!
The class will be held at the District Headquarters. The site features a paved parking lot, access ramp, and restrooms.
An adult must accompany all children under the age of 12.
