Join us to learn about The Mosaic Project's newest program, the Mosaic Classroom Project! Through the magic of documentary film, 4th and 5th graders can learn from, and alongside, students of different backgrounds as they explore how to become peacemakers.

The Mosaic Classroom Project is an experiential learning program that equips educators with engaging, ready-to-use resources to teach students how to celebrate differences, communicate assertively, and resolve conflicts peacefully. The curriculum consists of 16 sequential lessons for 4/5th grade classes in plug-and-play slide decks with interactive elements. Each lesson is 20-60 minutes and includes documentary films featuring Mosaic students, instructional videos, an original Mosaic song, fun “gametivities” (games and activities), and a discussion guide, ensuring students and teachers can effortlessly engage with the content and adapt the curriculum to their classroom needs.

If you’re an educator, administrator, or school counselor looking for dynamic, adaptable lessons that integrate film, music, storytelling, and interactive activities to promote social-emotional learning, this webinar is for you! Join us to explore how the Mosaic Classroom Project can support your students in building essential life skills while strengthening classroom culture.

We teach individuals of all ages the skills needed to create more peaceful, inclusive communities. Since our founding in 2000, we have provided over 68,000 children and 22,000 adults with our unique immersive experiential education programs in equity, empathy, and effective communication across differences. The Outdoor Project, Mosaic’s signature program, brings together 4th and 5th grade classes from markedly different backgrounds for a profound weeklong experience in nature. Our curriculum, based on proven research in social-emotional learning, is designed to address issues of difference, build self-esteem, and inspire inclusion. Our five-minute video at www.mosaicproject.org/#video truly captures the music and magic of the Outdoor Project. Our In-School Project, Youth Leadership Project, and professional development trainings deepen and sustain the impact of Mosaic’s Outdoor Project.
