MINT’s mission is to make Atlanta a destination for the arts: a cultural hub where artists thrive, patrons experience transformative work, and communities are activated and engaged.MINT believes that art enriches the world, and our dynamic programming, exhibitions, community partnerships and outreach serves artists and art enthusiasts alike. We make space for artists to take risks, be curious, and create brilliant and challenging work reflective of our city.

MINT will host a re-opening event on February 29, 2020 from 7-10pm featuring somethin' missing...somethin' promised, curated by Makeda Jean Lewis, in Gallery One; Straightaway, a group exhibition by 2019-2020 Leap Year Fellows in Gallery Two; and Rule Follower, a solo exhibition by Sarah Nathaniel. 
somethin’ missing...somethin’ promised aims to explore the symbiotic relationship of and effects on healing between the community and the individual. The curatorial debut of Makeda Jean Lewis, this show features works by Arianna Khmelniuk/Zapah Lab, MaDora Frey, Zipporah Camille Thompson, Hanna Newman, and Charity Harris. 
Straightaway is a group exhibition featuring works by Leap Year Fellows Caleb Jamel Brown, Danielle Deadwyler, Ellie Dent, Michelle Laxalt, and Amanda Grae Platner. 
Rule Follower is Sarah Nathaniel's first solo exhibition at a major arts institution in Atlanta. A continuous exploration of line and challenging the definition of line through drawing, painting, sculpture and installation are the foundations of Nathaniel's work. She applies self-imposed rules and boundaries in-process to concentrate the focus of her work on the importance of simplification, structure, and direction.
LEAP YEAR BASH will also be an open studio night to showcase our newly minted studio spaces. MINT's Studio Artists include Haylee Anne, Gabi Madrid, Charlotte Watts, Antoneisha Harper, Jabari Kenay Parker, Chandler Stephens, Alexandra Waggoner, Angela Davis Johnson, Lisa Shinault, Kymberly Day, Adrienne Tarver, Erin Dutton Drakeford and MINT's 2019-2020 Leap Year Fellows.

Admission is free but pre-registration is required.
