Join us for training on Lean Value Stream Mapping: Thursday, July 20th.

Lean Value Stream Mapping is an activity based 8-hour workshop intended to help participants learn and apply value stream mapping in a manufacturing or administrative setting. Value Stream Mapping is a process that captures both the flow of a product/service and the flow of information in a value stream. It is used as a planning technique as a means to link all Lean initiatives together into a meaningful and manageable plan for improvement. This training is applicable to those with an existing Lean program at their company, or those that are just beginning to explore Lean principles.
During the training participants will learn how to create a current state value stream of a particular product/process. Then participants will learn how to create a future state or “ideal state” value stream map, with an emphasis on integrating various lean manufacturing principles. Participants will walk away from this training with the ability to create current state and future state value stream maps for specific processes or products at their company. They will also leave with a deeper understanding of key lean manufacturing initiatives and how these can be integrated into their company to improve their value streams.
Training Objectives:
As a result of this course, participants will be able to:

Describe value and explain how the elimination of waste contributes to quality, productivity, and client satisfaction
