Lean Global Connection 2025

RETHINKING LEADERSHIP - Lean Thinking for Daily Impact and Long-Term Resilience

In every corner of the organization — from the front lines to the boardroom — leadership is being tested. Fast-changing markets, shifts in workforce dynamics, disruptive tech, and increasing complexity call for more than quick fixes or top-down control. We need leaders who can think long-term while solving real problems today.

Lean Thinking offers a practical, human approach to leadership that builds capability at every level. It empowers individuals to experiment, solve problems, and improve daily — all while working toward a shared strategic purpose. This mindset isn’t reserved for CEOs; it's for anyone who leads people, from team leaders and managers to improvement coaches.

At this year’s Lean Global Connection, we’ll explore what it takes to lead with Lean in today’s world — and why organizations that do are more resilient, more agile, and more connected to what truly matters: delivering lasting value.

Through keynotes, panels, and real-world case studies from around the globe, we’ll dive into:

  • What Lean leadership looks like in action — from the shop floor to the C-suite.
  • How to develop leadership capabilities in everyone.
  • The role of Lean in building organizations that can adapt, improve, and thrive in uncertain times.
  • How Lean can both support a long-term strategic direction and address daily challenges.
  • Practical discussions on timely issues facing businesses today — from geopolitical shifts and Artificial Intelligence to front-line engagement.

Join the biggest lean conference in the world and learn how to lead differently, embracing humility and generating a lasting impact.

Title: Leadership Practice: Daily Management to Make Every Day a Good Day
This workshop will be conducted by Jose Ferro & Daniel Oliveira.
Executing strategy in day-to-day operations remains one of the greatest challenges organizations face.

It’s not enough to have a well-designed strategy on paper — it’s essential to ensure it happens every day, at every level of the organization.

Based on the book “Daily Management to Execute Strategy” by Robson Gouveia and José Roberto Ferro, this workshop will help you develop leadership habits that connect daily work to strategic goals and strengthen a culture of learning and purposeful delivery.

You’ll learn how daily leadership practices within Daily Management can align teams, solve problems, and drive sustainable results.

More than just a management routine, this practice becomes a living system that connects people, purpose, and performance.
