Lean 101 Workshop - Mitchell

Lean 101 Workshop - Mitchell

Overview

This interactive session explores the fundamentals of Lean through a unique learn-and-do approach.

Manufacturers today are under increasing pressure to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and do more with limited resources. Lean principles provide a proven framework for identifying inefficiencies and creating more consistent, value-driven processes. This workshop is designed to give participants a practical, working understanding of Lean they can apply immediately in their operations.

Lunch is provided, and the workshop is designed for manufacturers, supervisors, and team members looking to strengthen operational fundamentals.

Participants will leave this workshop with a clear understanding of how to:

  • Identify waste within manufacturing processes
  • Create a more visual and transparent workplace
  • Improve consistency through standardized work
  • Increase capacity by reducing batch sizes
  • Understand the benefits of pull systems and flow-based production

This interactive session uses a unique simulation-based, learn-and-do approach that allows participants to experience how Lean principles impact a manufacturing operation in real time, helping translate Lean concepts into real-world application—making it easier for participants to take ideas back to their own facilities.
