Event Title: Leading through Change

Date & Time: June 12, 2024; 10am-12:00pm EST

Target Audience: Managers, Directors and Supervisors

Maximum number of participants: 30

Facilitators: Laura Scheck, Change Impact and Chris Lynn-Logue, WPTI

Description: This workshop will help participants review the core elements of positive leadership and how they personally show up as leaders, collaborators, and colleagues in workforce development settings. The group will complete a change readiness self-assessment and reflect on their strengths and areas for growth related to change. Participants will discuss the elements of strong change management and how to both alleviate staff stress and move the team’s work forward.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Explore strategies for leading through change
  • Establish at least two new practices/mindsets related to change management
  • Reflect on one’s own style when navigating change

This training session is funded by NYC Department of Youth & Community Development and has a value of $284.

If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session, you are responsible for canceling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.

Registrations will be reviewed, and you will be sent a confirmation email within 24 to 72 hours of registration, plus a final reminder email the day before the training. Any registrations from individuals from programs that do not hold a DYCD program contract will be unable to participate in this training.
