Leadership/Team Building Navigation Experience

Get outside and let the Cuyahoga Valley National Park provide a new experience for innovative leadership development experiences and team building. Turn off technology. We are going back to the basics learning about topographical maps and compasses. This navigation focuses heavily on strategy and effective teams finding markers of various levels of difficulty across the terrain using only a map, compass and your teammates. The experiential learning activity allows you to practice leadership, team work, communication and decision-making. We will conclude with a debrief reflecting on the experience.

Includes: Intro to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Navigation Instruction; Maps/Compasses; Master Educator of Leave No Trace Guide; Design/Instruction/Leadership and Team Building programming; Complimentary Conservancy for CVNP Memberships valued at $50 each.

Who: Individuals and/or small groups of up to 3 – There is a limit of 15 total participants.

Must be able to walk up to 2 miles with various inclines for 2 hours. No navigation experience required.

Minimum age of 18.
