Series Details: This training series, composed of 6 one-hour sessions, aims to educate peer support supervisors on how to effectively lead and deliver superior outcomes for those they serve. While sessions can be registered for individually, we recommend registering for all trainng courses within the series as each session will build upon the previous.


Series Objectives:

· Learn proven life coaching best practices and how to empower people to make positive changes

· Utilize a proven, step-by-step system to guide clients and peers towards achieving their goals

· Understand the important role of Peer Recovery Supporter Supervisors in addiction treatment

· Learn to set goals with a clear vision in mind and reach new heights of success

· Learn to build resilience by leveraging your past to improve your ability to accept challenges and overcome obstacles

· Learn the daily outworking traits and habit sets of a successful leader

Registration Information Needed:

To participate in this training, you must:

· Have completed the 4-hour OhioMHAS Peer Supporter Supervision training

· Meet the minimum qualifications to supervise Peer Supporters outlined in Ohio Administrative Code, listed at this web address, (https://mha.ohio.gov/community-partners/peer-supporters/supervising-peer-supporters)

· Be actively supervising Ohio Peer Supporters working with individuals with a diagnosis of substance use issues or co-occurring mental health and substance use issues.
