Chuck Avera Experience and Bio:
Chuck’s leadership journey was launched in the 1970’s as a high school and college quarterback. Since those early days, he has successfully led organizations in various industries, including his many years in leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard and various software companies in the 80’s and 90’s.
In 2001, he entered the real estate profession and built a very successful team at Keller Williams, becoming the #3 producer in his local market. In 2011, Chuck was named Operating Principal of a struggling Market Center in South Carolina. His leadership and vision was instrumental in it becoming one of the top 50 most profitable Market Centers in the Keller Williams system.
Later, Chuck’s leadership was recognized by KW MAPs and he became a MAPs Leadership Coach in 2015, coaching Agents, Team Leaders and Operating Principals across North America. Four years later, Chuck launched his own coaching company and has continued to coach and develop a new generation of leaders, focused on professional and personal growth as a leader.
None of Chuck’s success has come without many challenging growth opportunities, with lots of “failing forward”. He is a strong believer that leadership growth is a lifetime journey, filled with many learning moments that mold us into great leaders…..leaders that understand that it’s “not about us”….it’s about those we are leading, and helping them achieve their dreams.
Chuck lives in Charleston, SC. He has two children and five grandchildren.
