Leadership Circle for Emerging Development Professionals

Summary:

The Leadership Circle for Emerging Development Professionals is a weekly peer group meeting of new development professionals from small nonprofit organizations to share challenges and strategies for personal and organizational success. In an informal, roundtable format, you will have an opportunity to share your insights, gain practical solutions and alleviate any on-the-job isolation or stress that you might experience

The peer circles gather once a week for 90-minute sessions. Each session centers on a specific topic and is facilitated by a Candid trainer or one of our partner consultants. To maximize benefit, full attendance is suggested for the entire series in order to create an effective learning cohort.

Topics Include:

· Cultivating Funder Collaborations

· Moving Beyond the Elevator Pitch

· Landscape Scanning Using Knowledge Tools

· Career Development

· Sustainability & Self-care

All workshops are develop with opportunities to cross collaborate, create, learn and share. Please be mindful of workshops being interactive through video, chat or audio responses. If you're unable to actively participate, please share this with our providers during the workshop. We strive for flexibility and understanding of the vast responsibilities you may hold, if you have additional questions about active participation please reach out to the facilitator.
