This is an EPA-approved course for Lead-Safe Certification for anyone who performs work on pre-1978 housing or child-occupied facilities.

<h3>Lead Renovator (RRP) Initial Certification Course- Scottsbluff</h3>Ideal for contractors, painters, renovators, code inspectors, realtors, property owners and managers.Friday, March 26, 2021 - Scottsbluff9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Harms Center at WNCC- 2620 College Park Dr. ScottsbluffCourse Fee: $20 | Lunch IncludedAnyone who performs renovations, repairs or painting (RRP) in pre-1978 housing or child occupied facilities must be Lead-Safe Certified by the EPA or an EPA-authorized state. Likewise, contractors working on pre-1978 housing must employ at least one Certified Renovator. This course includes lead safety training approved by the EPA. Companies must also process an application to become a Lead Safe Certified Firm. The course concludes with a certification exam. Individuals and companies that are not certified could face fines.In partnership with Panhandle Public Health District, Western Nebraska Community College and Panhandle Partnership. If you are registering more than one person or for someone else, please note that full name, email address, date of birth and phone number are required for each attendee at time of registration. All attendees must follow current WNCC COVID-19 safety protocols which may include properly wearing a face covering at all times while inside the facility.
