Event description

Description

A follow up to the Soil Safety Basics: A Lead in Soils Workshop.

Now that you know your soils results, come learn about what this means for your outdoor space. We will have experts on hand to help interpret the results of your soil test results. These experts have experience with lead in soil as well as a range of the other soil contaminants.

This workshop also includes a hands-on component, and we will have 40-lb bags of compost available to take home for free. If you are unable to take home the bags, let us know and we may be able to deliver (based on your home address).

In addition we will hear from a local expert on a subject related to lead and soil health.

Attendees should be 18+ and should have taken the Soil Safety Basics workshop in advance of this workshop. If you have not done so, please contact workshop organizer, lael@northbrooklynneighbors.org for permission to enroll.
