Event Details

LDCX 2017 continues in our tradition of bring together institutions and technologists with common needs and concerns to identify and act upon opportunities for collaboration at the intersection of cultural heritage and technology. We hope to leverage this year's unconference not only in develop and further shared products and solutions, but also as a space to identify areas for collaboration on the bleeding edge.

High-level themes for this year’s unconference include:

  • discovery and delivery of archives
  • the International Image Interoperability Framework and related software development
  • data modeling, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing
  • Hydra/Blacklight code convergence
  • web archiving
  • APIs, harvesting, and synchronization
  • ... whatever you want to bring to discuss!

More information on LDCX 2017 can be found at the conference website:

This year's conference is also being held during the week of four additional events hosted by the Stanford University Libraries: Born Digital Archiving & Exchange (March 28, 2017), Personal Digital Archiving 2017 (March 29-31, 2017), and the Hydra Developer Congress and Hydra Partner Meeting (both March 30-31, 2017).
