Lavender & Bites

We are sisters Susannah and Lillian Calhoun, and along with our mother Diane Bigbee Calhoun, we grow cut flowers in southern Dona Ana County.Thanks to our extended growing season and diverse plantings, we grow a variety of incredibly beautiful, seasonal flowers and foliage that can be picked at the farm (see our many "u-picks") and found in local grocery stores/cafes and florists' shops.

O﻿ur second annual Lavender &amp; Bites event at the farm! Come out to Calhoun Flower Farms on Saturday, June 24th, from 6:00-8:00pm and celebrate the magic of Lavender by picking your own bundle to take home and enjoying delicious goodies from Bombay Bakes!Adult tickets include two specially crafted mocktail drinks created by Bombay Bakes and supplies to pick your own bunch of fresh lavender (1 bunch per admission ticket). We&#x27;ll have lavender lemonade and water refreshments for the kiddos.B﻿e sure to check out the Add-Ons available with this event:<ul><li>Custom P﻿icnic Boxes by Bombay Bakes including a fresh berry medley, crostini, meats and cheeses, hand-crafted butters and jams. </li><li>Additional U-Pick Lavender Bunches</li></ul>F﻿eel free to bring a blanket or chairs to enjoy a relaxing night on the farm._﻿__________________________________________________________________________________________________________A few notes about this event and your visit to our farm:W﻿e are a FARM! We know that sounds obvious, yet we want your visit to be as wonderful as possible! There is a short walk between the parking lot and the event space and restrooms. Keep in mind that you may be walking on uneven ground, slick spots, and some stickers - so please wear comfortable sturdy footwear.Remember that we are a working farm and a healthy farm means an abundance of insect life. There will be pollinators, gnats, and mosquitos. We will provide repellent for you to apply throughout your visit to fully enjoy the experience and invite you to bring your own if there are particular scents or ingredients you prefer. There will be NO ticket sales at the door. If the minimum number of tickets has not been sold, we reserve the right to cancel and refund.Please read your EMAIL confirmation!
