No! Registration is however  encouraged for all attendees and helps us prepare enough supplies, produce, books, and activities for families.

? Do I need to register for hair services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Registration is required for all haircuts and braided hairstyles.
When registering, please indicate whether your child is interested in:
•	A haircut
•	A braided hairstyle
This helps us estimate the number of youth requesting services and ensures our volunteer barbers and stylists are prepared

✂️ Does registration guarantee a haircut or hairstyle?

Accepted Answer

No. Due to limited time and volunteer availability, registration does not guarantee services.
Haircuts and hairstyles will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event.
We strongly encourage families interested in hair services to arrive early.

? What are the requirements for braiding services?

Accepted Answer

To receive a braided hairstyle, hair must be:
✔ Clean
✔ Washed
✔ Completely Blow Dried
Our stylists are donating their time and will not be able to wash or blow dry hair on-site. Cash Tips are encouraged.
Participants who do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for braiding services.

Yes! Backpacks and school supplies are free while supplies last.

? Is the produce giveaway free?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Fresh produce will be distributed free of charge to families while supplies last. Participants will need to have event  passports stamped for produce distrubution

Yes! Youth will have access to free books thanks to our community partners the Kids Book Bank

Yes! Youth will have access to free Toys with a limit of no more than 2 items  thanks to our community partners.Goods Bank Neo- Unplug and Play .

Yes. Winners must be present when raffle prizes are announced to claim their prize. We will announce winners around 3:45pm-4:00pm
