About this event

Bill and Linda Hamaker, Certified Laughter Yoga Master Trainers and the founders of “Let’s Laugh Today” will teach you how to bring more playful laughter into your life! Laughter Yoga combines guided laughter exercises with breathing exercises to bring more oxygen to the body’s cells. This oxygen boost gives enhanced vitality, energy and a feeling of real well-being even after just one session. Any age and any level of physical ability can do these simple exercises. Every session is always different as there are thousands of fun exercises.

They have a laughter session the second Monday of every month at noon ET and others are on www.letslaughtoday.com

There are no fancy poses and no special clothing is needed. You can sit or stand. A pretend laugh even has all the same health benefits as a real one, but turns into a real laugh when practiced in a group. Laughing strengthens the immune system, unwinds the negative effects of stress, lowers blood pressure, lifts your spirits, improves mental alertness and much, much more!

Please join them for this fun, unique, and uplifting experience that will teach you how to add more happiness to your life and the life of others. Bill and Linda and have been spreading the joys and health benefits of laughter yoga in their New England area for fifteen years and have run three non-profit successful laughter clubs in the area.

They have been leading laughter on ZOOM every week for laughers all over the world since March 2020. They were featured on the news show, BOSTON CHRONICLE: https://www.wcvb.com/article/laughter-yoga-is-an-emotional-boost/32972798 and have appeared on community television, been on the radio, and have been featured on the front page of many community newspapers.

Regular participants of this meeting have chosen that all cameras MUST be turned on with visible faces for this event. This is to help participants feel safe and supported, especially when sharing their own laughter. Seeing others laugh also helps keep the laughter flowing and makes for a better laughter session. (Cameras can still be turned off during the quiet meditation portion.)Laughter is a universal language and people from all over the world attend!

The vision of Laughter Yoga is to achieve Health, Joy and World Peace through Laughter!
