A Small Group & A Big IdeaIn 2015, a mother and daughter set off to explore the Holy Land to experience the Bible's most historical landmarks and dive further into their faith. It was on this trip to Jerusalem they learned about the Daughters of Charity and were deeply moved by their work.Once they returned to the United States, they researched the Daughters of Charity and were connected with St. Vincent de Paul, a local children's refuge in Jerusalem run by the Daughters of Charity. They felt the calling to help improve the conditions of the refuge for the children in need. They applied for assistance in international outreach, and called on some friends to get the efforts off the ground.Thus,#BeTheReason2016 was born.A Note from the Group:We want to express our deepest gratitude to those who are able to help us. Your ticket purchase will directly help improve the conditions and allow the sisters to continue taking in children who need them most. <BR></SPAN></H2>
