What is LARPFest?

LARPFest is an annual celebration of Live Action Role-Playing (LARP), where participants immerse themselves in fantastical worlds, don elaborate costumes, and engage in epic adventures. This is a festival that will host vendors, contests, filming, VIPs, prizes, photo-op and a red carpet opportunity.

What is THE AMASSING?

The Amassing is a title from our screenplay as part of our origin story to a future superhero series. The meaning behind it is that the main villain at the festival, Henry "The Havoc" Smalls; is to capture the last remaining people hiding in a town by order of his boss; a self-proclaimed emperor.

What type of characters can I come as?

Larpers are afforded a variety of characters in our post-apocalyptic scenario. This includes armored warriors, knights, villains, henchmen, soldiers, firefighters, police, barbarians, cowboys, warlords. Styles can also be found at www.larpfest.net for more info.

Will there be contest?

Yes. We will be giving away prizes for best costume contest.

Is this part of a movie series?

Yes. The Amassing is a side story to one of our main characters. The team is in search for additional character ideas so this opens opportunity up to the public to come as a character that may be adopted into our origin story.

Is there parking?

Yes. Parking at the property can hold up to about 2500 vehicles. Exclusive ticket holders will receive priority parking.

How long will tickets be on sale?

There are limited number of tickets. We will be issuing four rounds of tickets from April-Oct 2024. As we begin each round of tickets; the price will increase. Tickets will be the cheapest in the first round (April-May).

Is there alcohol?

Yes. There will be bartenders on-site to serve up beverages. It is prohibited to bring alcohol to LARPFest.

Can children attend?

Yes. LARPFest is a family friendly environment. Families can attend as larpers or spectators.

LARPFest will unfold amidst the sprawling landscapes of Reunion Ranch in Georgetown, Texas. Nestled amidst the rolling hills and scenic vistas of the Texas Hill Country, Reunion Ranch offers a picturesque setting that perfectly complements the immersive nature of our LARPing experience.

Theme: This year's festival theme is “THE AMASSING“. Participants will embark on a thrilling quest to uncover ancient artifacts, decipher forgotten lore, and confront the resurgence of long-lost powers. From hidden valleys to enchanted forests, every corner of Reunion Ranch holds secrets waiting to be unearthed. Conversely, an enemy lurks in the shadows plotting to invade the Reunion Ranch, steal and ancient stone, destroy the town and capture its people.
