Join ComNetwork Denver for a hands-on workshop with Lee Shainis, founder of Simplify Language.During the session, Lee will share practical, actionable tools to:<ul><li>Make your spoken and written communication easier for people to quickly understand.</li><li>Reduce your written communication by 20-50% without removing content or “dumbing it down.&quot;</li><li>Improve equity, access, inclusion, recruitment, retention, trust, and belonging.</li><li>Make translations better, easier, and more economical—an often-neglected piece of language justice.</li></ul>Attendees will discuss the impacts of simplifying and practice the skills using real-life examples.About our workshop facilitator, Lee ShainisLee is founder of <a href="https://www.simplifylanguage.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Simplify Language</a>, which provides training and services to make written and spoken communication easier to understand. He works with educational institutions, local governments, nonprofits and businesses to make their communication more accessible and inclusive. Lee co-founded the nonprofit Intercambio Uniting Communities and served as CEO for 20 years. He lives in Boulder with his wife Marcela and their sons Valentino and Mateo.
