Li Tang Community and THE BLANC are presenting Language of Visibility, a joint effort to celebrate the creativity of the Asian diaspora. This event features an opening ceremony on May 10, community event days on May 17 and 24, with a series of events including the Li Tang Community 5th Anniversary Exhibition, independent curatorial projects, panel discussions, live performances, and networking.
Language of Visibility marks five years of community building from Li Tang Community, a New York-based artist-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to amplifying the creative voices of the worldwide Asian diaspora. Founded in April 2020, Li Tang Community has featured over 100 professional Asian artists and published nearly 200 art news articles on a voluntary basis. Our work has been recognized in mainstream media such as the Los Angeles Post, New York Today, Daily Herald, The Paper, FOX40, Art China, Sohu, Tencent, and more.
