Lakefront Ride & Learn
Join the Green Ribbon Coalition and our Erie Shore Activists for a scenic and informational 11-mile bike ride along the Cleveland Lakefront. Learn about current and proposed lakefront projects while cycling along the beautiful Cleveland Lakefront. People of all ages and skill levels are welcome!
Date: Saturday, October 21st 2017
Time: Registration begins at 9:30am. Ride will begin at 10:00am.
Location: All participants will meet at 9:30am to check-in and register outside of the main lobby of Burke Lakefront Airport. There will be a table set up outside with large 'Green Ribbon Coalition' and 'Erie Shore Activist' signs. There is ample parking in the Burke Lakefront Airport lot.

Cost: $10 per rider
At every stop made during the event, a lakefront project will be discussed. There will be water avaliable at each stop. If you or someone you know may be interested in volunteering instead of cycling, please contact stephanie@greenribbonlakefront.org.
Lakefront Project Stops include:
- Burke Lakefront Airport
- Cleveland Public Power Park Adoption/Beautification
- North & South Marginal Road Greenways
- I-90/Gordon Park Expansion
- Mall C - Harbor Land Bridge
- North Coast Harbor Development Projects
- East Shoreway Beautification
All participatants will be following the rules of the road at all times, for their safety and the safety of the group. Safety will be discussed before the event. Participants will also be asked to sign a hold harmless form prior to participation. ALL riders MUST wear a helmet!
