The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to join Education Specialist Tommy Nordmann for a bike ride through Lake George Forest. We’ll stop by the lake and discuss some of the birds and fish that call this lake home. Then, we’ll continue through the forest and discuss the plants we see along the way.

** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.

ACTIVITY: Easy to moderate four-mile bike ride on unpaved trails.

RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.

TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.

AGES: Ages 10 and up are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing for the outdoors

WHAT TO BRING: water, bug spray, sunscreen, helmet, bicycle with wide tires (road bikes are not recommended)

FACILITIES: There will be a port-a-potty but no running water.
