The African Circular Economy Network (ACEN) and the Circular Economy Innovation Partnership (CEIP) in partnership with the government of Lagos State will host the Lagos Circular Economy Hotspot 2023 scheduled to hold in the third week in June 2023.
The Lagos Circular Economy Hotspot event is an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands that brings together policymakers, businesses, companies, civil societies, entrepreneurs, citizens, knowledge institutions and governments in a bid to promote and support collaboration, knowledge sharing, highlight circular strategies, best practices, and exchange ideas towards the transition to a circular economy in host cities. The circular economy model is a model that promotes resource efficiency and optimization much needed in our current world.
Interestingly, the 7th edition of the Circular Economy Hotspot will take place in 3 cities namely Lagos, Dublin and Santiago de Chile putting the cities under the microscope of the world to experience a just transition from linear to circular city values.
The Lagos Circular Economy Hotspot 2023 will welcome over 500 participants from across Nigeria and about 150 foreign audiences from more than 20 Countries.
