Whether you've never celebrated Lag Ba'omer or you have your own annual traditions, you're in for a sweet treat with 2239! Join us for a midweek pre-Lag Ba'Omer bonfire outside the Temple!
We will have s'mores, light snacks, and drinks to enjoy, along with a short discussion on the history and some of the cultural traditions surrounding this often-overlooked holiday. Bring a friend or three: just make sure they're registered so we know how many folks to expect. We wouldn't want to run out of s'mores!
After the bonfire, there will be a group of folks going to an 'afterparty' at Cactus Cantina on Wisconsin Avenue just a few blocks up the street (we'll all most likely head there together). All are welcome, and this second part of the evening will be 'pay your own way.' Join us for a margarita, virgin daiquiri, tacos, or fajitas as we continue to enjoy each other's company and make new friends.
