Laurie Ann Meyer founded the Ladies Luncheon in June 2009 in Ventura. She recognized that women wanted a venue to meet at lunchtime, break away from their busy days, and concentrate on community, connection, and support. Women are served a quality meal in a comforting environment. There are no memberships, and an unlimited number of business categories can join the luncheon each month. Laurie believes in collaboration!
The opportunity is also there to meet other women, network, and receive moral support in all they do. But it’s more than just that. Over time, the Ladies Luncheon has transformed into a community of Love and Connection. Women attend initially for business referrals, and after they have been attending for a while, even years, they quote, “I came today to just rest, relax, be seen, heard, and loved on.”
Laurie is a local, successful Real Estate Broker who owns the Lifestyle Listings Team under Realty ONE Group Summit. While you may think the two are not connected, they very much are. Her life philosophy is to use her inspiration, enthusiasm, and knowledge to empower and encourage others and herself to pursue their dream and goals guided by God.
We will be meeting at the beautiful Ventura Harbor to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, support and time to relax.
