The Louisiana Association of Child Welfare & Attendance Personnel (LACWAP) Conference Planning Committee is excited to announce its annual summer conference! The purpose of the LACWAP 3-day conference is to inform, inspire, and foster professional interaction in the areas of Child Welfare and Attendance, Student Support Services, and School Law. A variety of presenters will share relevant information featuring topics such as best practices in improving school attendance, interpreting current and future school law, providing student/family services, sharing advocacy resources, and updates regarding school safety.
Opportunities will be provided for networking and collaboration between agencies and parishes to aid in improving the academic success, quality of life, and citizenship of students within our state.
