Lacerta Bio #BIO2020 Primer - San Diego

Join us on Sunday, June 7, from 6 pm (1800) to 8 pm (2000) for our Pre-BIO2020 Primer!

We will meet at The Field Irish Pub (544 Fifth, San Diego) for a highly unstructured, BYO, pre - #BIO2020 gathering.

The FIeld is located in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego...right in the middle of the BIO action.

It's a 10 minute walk from the San Diego Convention Center, and near many of our hotels.

Like we did in Philadelphia last year, we will be giving away 3-5 tickets to the Wednesday Evening Charity Ball at The Omnia. The theme will be announced soon...

We are also working on a few other giveaways. "Like what?" you ask? You'll have to come over to find out! Giveaways will occur around 6:30 pm.

And, for the first time in Lacerta Bio Primer history, we will have FREE FOOD available...but only if you show up on time...while supplies last.

So, if you're in San Diego on Sunday evening, swing by for a snack and a beverage as we kickoff BIO2020 together.

Lacerta Bio is pleased to support the San Diego-based Immunotherapy Foundation. This Foundation is a non-profit organization working to eradicate HPV-related cancers by advancing precision cancer immunotherapy research and cancer prevention programs.

A representative from the Immunotherapy Foundation will be at the Primer to tell us about their great work and to describe how we can support their efforts.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We recommend a taxi, else walk in groups.

What does "BYO" mean?

Buy Your Own beverages...light and heavy snacks will be available for a few hours.

What kinds of food and beverages are available?

We are putting together a menu of standard Irish Pub fare for us to enjoy.

Why should I attend?

1. It's a great way to get into the networking frame of mind. The drinks help, of course.

2. Because you will have a few laughs before it gets serious on Monday morning.

3. Because you need to get away from your boss or colleagues for a few hours.

Is there a dress code?

Is this really a reception?

Not really. It's a "let's meet at the pub and have a beverage before the real thing begins" kind of event. But that is too long of a description. And, besides, "reception" sounds better.

Are you affilaited with BIO?

Neither Lacerta Bio nor The Field are in any way affiliated with BIO. This is a private event.
