Labo Spirale Launch Party!

Join us for a night of film, music and community as we celebrate the launch of Edinburgh's newest analogue film lab, Labo Spirale!

Labo Spirale is a new artist run, analogue-focused moving image lab in Edinburgh! We want to develop access to analogue skills, practices and equiptment through screenings, workshops and community! Join us to launch the lab and to hear more about our upcoming plans. We'll be projecting analogue film and there will be live music and hands-on activities to enjoy! All welcome! Come along to help us envisage what a collaborative analogue community in Edinburgh might look like.

With a live set from Leith's own samwooddowmass He makes sounds using a variety of techniques including tape loops, digital processing and analogue instrumentation. He is known for performing in unusual spaces (such as a urinal) and using instruments in strange ways live, such as a bass guitar played with a bicycle.

Tickets: all income from tickets supports the development of the lab and facilitates purchase of equiptment and resources. However, no one will be turned away from the launch for lack of funds. If you need to, please email us to request a ticket.

Accesibility at Leith Depot:

*The screening/ performance space is on ground level and is wheelchair accesible from the Leith Depot bar.

*There are accesible toilets in both the screening/ performance space and bar.

*The screening/ performance space will have a mixture of chairs and standing room to faciliate audience members moving around the space to engage with the different elements.

*Leith Depot is very well-served by public transport. It is a short walk from The Foot of the Walk tram stop, and there is a bus stop outside the venue for services 7, 14, 16, 25 and 49.
