La GALERIE de la NUIT/ Galleria della NOTTE

La Galerie de la Nuit/ Galleria della Notte è un concetto d'esposizione temporanea mobile, modulabile e collaborativa. Si tratta anche si un progetto di mediazione culturale tematica.

Dopo le mostre a Parigi e Digione nel 2023, arriva a Venezia a giugno 2024, nelle lunghe sere a cavallo dello solstizio; le aperture sono solo serali, dal 15 al 23 giugno dalle ore 16-22, in modo eccezionale fino a mezzanotte sabato 15 e sabato 22 giugno, durante l'ART NIGHT.

La collezione, privata, è costituita da 30 creazioni originali, dal XVI secolo al XXI, di artisti francesi, canadiani, italiani, tedeschi, cecchi, austriaci, inglesi, olandesi, belgi e svedesi.

Il tema che unisce le creazioni è la rappresentazione della notte sotto forma di allegoria, di una personificazione o di una incarnazione. Pittura, disegno, incisioni, scultura, disegno a china, modellini, pezzi a fusioni o smalti, queste opere danno conto delle correnti artistiche dei secoli: tardo manierismo di Wenzel Dietterlin, classicismo di Joachim Von Sandrart, barroco si Ferdinand Maximilian Brokoff, rococò di Johann Esaias Nilsonn, neoclassicismo di Bertel Thorvaldsen, academismo di Paul Emil Jakobs, decorativismo di Paul Aichèle, simbolismo di Louis Philip Hebert e Paul Adrien Dalpayrat, Art Nouveau di Georges Flamand, espressionismo di Hedwig Plahner, sintetismo di Pierre Brun. Altri artisti singolari si aggiungono alla raccolta, come Jean Louis Boussingault o Jaroslav Horejc.

The Galerie de la Nuit consists of a private art collection made up of 30 original creations, from the 16th century to the 21st century, of French, Canadian, Italian, German, Czech, Austrian, English, Dutch, Belgian and Swedish artists. It is a concept of temporary exhibition, mobile, divided in modules and collaborative. It is a project of thematic cultural mediation.

After beeing exhibited in Paris and Dijon in 2023, it arrives in Venice in June 2024, in the long evenings around the solstice: opening only by night, form June 15th-23rd, h. 4 - 10 p.m., exceptionally 4 - 12 p.m. on June 15th and 22th, for the ART NIGHT.

The unifying theme of these creations is the representation of the night in the form of an allegory, a personification or an incarnation.

Painted, drawn, engraved, sculpted, inked, modeled, melted or enameled, these artworks form a coherent continuum of the main artistic trends: Late Mannerism of Wenzel Dietterlin, Classicism of Joachim Von Sandrart, Baroque of Ferdinand Maximilian Brokoff, Rocaille of Johann Esaias Nilsonn, Neoclassicism of Bertel Thorvaldsen, Academism of Paul Emil Jakobs, Decorative of Paul Aichèle, Symbolism of Louis Philip Hebert and Paul Adrien Dalpayrat, Art Nouveau of Georges Flamand, Expressionism of Hedwig Plahner, Synthetism of Pierre Brun. Unclassifiable and singular artists who do not subscribe to these movements, such as Jean Louis Boussingault or Jaroslav Horejc are embedded into this artistic suite.

These artworks combine onirism and worrying strangeness, peace and anxiety, material and immaterial. Their diversity in terms of time and style allows numerous links with other sensitive universes such as literature, architecture, music, mythology, spirituality, opera, psychoanalysis, theater, philosophy.
