TRAINING: KYBELLA INJECTIONS

We are a Physician Oversight + Training Program based in Dallas, TX.
We seek to present different opportunities + strategies to learn new skills + techniques for cosmetic treatments as well as the foundational knowledge that revolves around effective, safe injection techniques — with sound knowledge of facial anatomy. In this class, we will explore the fundamental cosmetic applications employed by expert injectors of Kybella® (deoxycholic acid). The first FDA approved drug (in 2015) of its kind with an indication for submental fullness (double chin). Kybella® injections are used to contour + improve the appearance of the “double chin” by reducing moderate to severe fat on the upper neck. We will discuss Kybella® safety, side effects, contraindications, patient selection, treatment protocols and mapping, pre + post treatment considerations.
We will review injections for submental fat, stomach + arm/flank areas of treatment. Hands on model injections will be performed to treat submental fat.
