At KUMBAYAFEST, talented songwriters from all over Texas, and the World, will come together to showcase their skills in the Texas State Songwriters Championship Artists Seminar/Showcase. You'll have the chance to witness the magic as they enjoy a weekend of fine tuning on skills and collaborating with other artists!
But KUMBAYAFEST is not a competition. It's a chance to learn and grow as a songwriter. Our Songwriter Seminar/RETREAT/Workshops will provide you with valuable insights, tips, and techniques from industry professionals. Whether you're a seasoned songwriter or just starting out, you'll find something to inspire you.

Friday evening we kick the party off with Rick Orozco - 5x Grammy Nominated Songwriter! -
4-7pm Rick Orozco, will be singing songs, telling the stories behind them, and giving some life hacks to the trade!
We plan to provide an insight and education opportunity as well as an exposure song swap, get to know each other, after Rick's Performance!

Amy Oppy, is currently in the process of filming a documentary on the importance of why we need the government to further regulate our retirement facilities & the impact it has on the community!
