Aperçu

Join us as we throw one of the premier after-hours events at KubeCon! We'll be at the Upper Deck River View Bar in the Novotel London Excel.

The New Stack is excited to be activating at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon in London from April 1-4! We'll be covering the presentations, doing interviews, recording videos on the show floor, and visiting vendor booths. Plus, we're teaming up with MinIO, the company that delivers high-performance, Kubernetes-native object storage, to co-host what promises to be your most rewarding evening of the conference.

You're invited to join us for elevated bites, beverages, and banter from 6-8 PM on April 3. The brightest minds at the conference will be mingling with VIPs and The New Stack's Editorial team, so don't miss this opportunity to engage.

We'll be hosting this reception at the Novotel London ExCel, (conveniently located right by the convention centre), in the Upper Deck bar with a view of the river.

Space is limited, so get your name on the list soon!

Your hosts for the evening will include...

Ugur Tigli, CTO - MinIO

Ugur oversees enterprise strategy and interfaces with MinIO’s enterprise client base. He helps them architect and deploy API-driven, cloud native and scalable enterprise-grade data infrastructure using MinIO. Ugur has almost two decades of experience building high performance data infrastructure for global financial institutions. Prior to MinIO, he was a technology leader at Bank of America where he served as the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Hardware Engineering. Ugur joined BofA through the acquisition of Merrill Lynch where he was the Vice President for Storage Engineering.

Alex Williams, Founder and Publisher - The New Stack
Alex founded The New Stack 10 years ago alongside his wife, Judy. He's a longtime technology journalist who did stints at TechCrunch, SiliconAngle and what is now known as ReadWrite. Alex has been a journalist since the late 1980s, starting at the Augusta Chronicle in 1989 after completing his master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. While in college, Alex played baseball in France, which led him to writing stories of his experiences, and eventually a career in journalism.

Heather Joslyn, Editor-in-Chief - The New Stack
After a couple years in a senior editor role with The New Stack, Heather became the publication's Editor-in-Chief. Heather has a special interest in management and careers issues that are relevant to software developers and engineers. She previously worked as editor in chief of Container Solutions, a cloud native consulting company, and as an editor/reporter at The Chronicle of Philanthropy and the Baltimore City Paper.
